Gwen and Ledell got started in the network marketing industry 21 years ago. The couple was looking for an opportunity that would give them the time freedom to be there for their two children.
“It was important to me to have the flexibility and the freedom to be involved in their school and all of their extracurricular activities,” says Gwen. “That’s what network marketing enabled me to do.”
The couple fell in love with the industry and successfully built teams with three different companies over the next 15 years but eventually decided to leave network marketing.
“We loved the industry in terms of what was going on with us,” explains Ledell, “but we were simply not happy with some of the things that were going on in certain companies we were involved with.”
The couple left the industry for over a year and questioned whether they would come back, until they discovered Isagenix.
Discovering the Difference
After being introduced to Isagenix, Gwen and Ledell say that they thoroughly checked out the business before deciding to return to network marketing.
“We were still a little skeptical at first, but we quickly realized that this company was different,” says Gwen. “Here we have truly found our home.”
Gwen and Ledell were first attracted to Isagenix because they felt that they had finally found a company that aligned with their beliefs.
“Integrity was number one for us, and not only integrity, but leadership of the company from the top down,” says Ledell.
They were looking for a company that they could believe in and build a legacy with. “We’re at a point in our lives where we’re looking for stability, and we found that with Isagenix,” Gwen says.
The couple has now been with the company for just over five and a half years and is excited about the bright future they see for themselves.
Gwen and Ledell’s Reminders for Reaching the Top
1. Always follow up. People will come and people will go, but if you focus on building strong relationships, you can succeed. Follow up within the first 90 days to see how you can help others get started.
2. Take advantage of the tools. Isagenix has created amazing tools to help you build your business and stay in touch with what’s going on. Utilize these tools and always make sure new Associates are aware of them.
3. There are multiple ways to build your business. Network marketing is evolving, and there are multiple ways to reach people and build your business. “We’ve always been old school and built our business by doing a lot of Launch Parties, but now we have branched out to reach more people,” says Gwen. “This can be through a three-way call, a conference call, a webinar, or whatever you want.”
