“You are meant for so much more than this.”

That’s what Kerry Guttilla said to herself when she first had her aha moment after 15 years of working in the corporate banking industry.

“We are taught to go through the motions to meet the status quo – school, job, pension, etc.,” Kerry said. “That all sounded okay in theory, but it’s never really resonated with me, and it certainly didn’t excite me.”

Even still, Kerry was excelling in her corporate job and moving up in the ranks quickly. She started to believe that maybe that was where she was meant to be, until one night when she was talking on the phone with her husband from her work break room late one night.

“I was listening to him tell me about what my kids were doing, what they were having for dinner, how their soccer games had gone, and I just remember being so sad that I wasn’t there,” Kerry said. “I hung up the phone and thought, ‘Is this life? Because this just cannot be what life is supposed to be about.’”

Kerry decided then and there that she needed to be home with her family. She wanted to be able to go on field trips with her kids, never miss a soccer game, and share new experiences with them. She was determined to figure out how to achieve that.

Finding That Isagenix Feeling

After having her third child, Kerry finally took the leap and resigned from her corporate job. She was working out six to seven times a week to lose the baby weight and teaching group fitness classes to make some money. Needless to say, her body was exhausted and worn down. That’s when Kerry noticed one of her friends from Zumba had started sharing Isagenix on Facebook.

Kerry’s friend, Tara Romano, shared how much energy she had, how great her body felt, and how happy she was. Kerry desired to feel that great, too, so she reached out to Tara and started her first Isagenix System. She immediately fell in love with how the products made her feel, and others were noticing the changes in her as well!

“Everyone in my fitness classes wanted to know what I was doing,” Kerry said. “But I had no network marketing experience. I was just sharing what I knew helped me feel better, hoping that it would do the same for everyone I passed it on to.”

After she started building her team organically, Kerry finally decided to attend her first Celebration with her husband Anthony in tow. Stepping on to the main stage for the first time to be recognized as the No. 1 earner in Leadership Pools that year, she was all in!

With a successful, thriving Isagenix business, Kerry has achieved her dream of having the freedom to be a more active part of her children’s lives. She gets to go on field trips, attend all their soccer games, and most exciting to her, travel with them, show them different parts of the world, and introduce them to new cultures and experiences.

Kerry’s Steps to Success

Now, this inspired mother and businesswoman gets to pursue her passion of helping others while supporting her family financially. Kerry has over 48,000 people in her Isagenix organization and is often in disbelief that she has touched the lives of so many people.

“Most people think that certain goals are totally out of reach, for them,” Kerry said. “I know because I was one of those people, but I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be able to show them that it is absolutely attainable. • Be authentic. You lose all your credibility when you aren’t genuine. Never try to be a carbon copy of another leader just because they are successful. Just be yourself. Be real, be honest, and be truthful.
• Do the right thing by people. If it’s all about you, you’re never going to go the distance, and you could hurt a lot of good people along the way.
• Learn to become unoffendable. In this business, you’ll find that rejection is going to come from mostly your family and your friends. One of the first things I teach my team is you are going to get rejected and you have to learn how to react to it. It’s just so freeing when you can let it roll off your shoulders and not put that time and energy into being offended by it.
