Raise your hand if you have ever felt personally victimized by the phrase “summer bodies are made in the winter” or have seen magazine and television commercials that urge you to get your body “bikini-ready.” I know you can’t see it, but my hand is raised high.

These messages are everywhere, and I’m tired of hearing them, because this is 2019, and I’m all about body positivity. I believe that ALL bodies are summer bodies (and fall, winter, and spring bodies, for that matter), and you should never let an ad in the media tell you otherwise. Are you with me?!

I hope so, because I’m a fan of living my best life all year long, and that means making healthy changes — no crazy summer diets for me — and supporting my body with the best nutrition and best habits I can.

In addition to fueling my body with quality foods, here are three healthy habits I’m focusing on to support my yearlong body (aka my not-just-for-summer body).

1. Staying Hydrated

Drinking enough water is one of the best ways to support your body and all its functions, from your muscles to your brain and heart. The amount of water you need per day can vary from person to person based on activity level, diet, and climate, but experts say everyone needs at least 30 to 50 ounces of water throughout the day.

Some of my favorite tricks for increasing water intake are always carrying a water bottle, ordering water while out to eat (there’s no better time to chug water than while hungrily awaiting dinner, right?), and making my water flavorful with a drop of lemon essential oil or drink mix.

2. Mixing Things Up

Personally, I always feel my best when I’m trying new things and challenging myself to liven up my workouts and meals. I sign up for new workout classes, visit new gyms, experiment with new recipes, and sample new foods. By doing this, I never get bored or hit a plateau, and so far, I’ve discovered some of my favorite ways to work out as well as some of my favorite healthy foods.

3. Taking Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes

I don’t know about you, but on the occasions when I feel bloated and uncomfortable, I’m ready to throw all my healthy habits out the window. Why would I want to support my body when it’s making me feel terrible? Well, there may be a solution to this problem.

Taking probiotics and digestive enzymes like those found in the IsaBiome™ Daily Digestive Health System helps support your gut microbiome. This, in turn, supports overall health, provides digestive comfort, and helps you build a healthy lifestyle.†

If you’re ready to start supporting your yearlong body, try introducing these healthy habits into your life or creating your own!
