Congratulations to Isagenix Millionaires No. 226, John and Lori Lober!

3035-resizedIn April of 2000, Lori was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the age of 36. Her diagnosis was terminal, but she simply said, “Nope, not me.”

Determined to find another answer, Lori began looking for other ways to maintain her health and wanted to improve her nutrition. She saw a holistic nutritionist, a Tibetan monk, and a chiropractor, among others, while maintaining her regimen of 120 pills a day.

“I did that for seven years,” said Lori. “It was a full-time job.”

A friend reached out and told Lori she had something that would make her day much easier. She introduced her to Isagenix, and Lori saw a way to take the guesswork out of her nutrition.

Excited about what she had found, Lori took the Isagenix products home and showed her husband, John. They tried the Isagenix System together and fell in love with how they felt.

“I didn’t have to worry anymore about how I was going to fuel my body with good nutrition,” said Lori. “Isagenix made my life so much easier.”

Focusing on Their Strengths

2017metsqueradejohnlorilober-resizedJohn is extremely busy in his homebuilding business, and Lori still undergoes treatment every 21 days as a cancer patient, so her full-time job is staying well. With those commitments in mind, the couple initially had no desire to learn anything about the business side of Isagenix.

Eventually, though, John became curious about the opportunity and said to Lori, “We know we’re going to keep ordering these products, so let’s take a look at the business model.”

John went to a meeting, and after seeing the Isagenix Team Compensation Plan, he decided to give the business a try.

“John has more of a business mind, and I don’t, so I just keep using the products while he incorporates the business,” laughed Lori.

Lori says she is happy to focus on her counseling work with fellow cancer patients, where she is using her journey to guide others who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis.

“I feel blessed that I can be a vehicle to help guide them toward optimal health and wellness,” she said.

Helping Others for Life

In his homebuilding business, John has found success by focusing on great customer service, so he applied that same focus to his Isagenix business.

“We always talk about the no-compromise commitment, and once we establish our Customers and they like the products, I help them earn enough income to pay for their products or just to achieve whatever it is they want to achieve,” he said. “We don’t lead with telling people to do this or do that; we just care about helping people for life and supporting them in whatever health goals they have.”

Living Life to the Fullest

Now, the couple is focusing on aging as healthfully as possible so that they can continue to help others while enjoying their flexibility. They want to retire while they’re healthy so that they can do the things they love to do, like exploring the United States.

“We don’t want to wait until we’re retired; we want to do everything we can do right now as we strive to get to a point where John can officially retire,” said Lori. “So we bought a camper, and any time we’re able to pick up and do what we do with our cellphones and laptops, we do it. We bring our black lab, Grace, and plan to live life to the fullest while traveling the country.”
