Protein Birthday Cake Recipe
Happy birthday, Isagenix! We are celebrating this delicious anniversary with a protein-packed cake. It’s full of rainbow sprinkles and Birthday Cake Flavor Whole Blend IsaLean® Shake. This may just be the sweetest way to say cheers to a great year.
Whether you’re craving a delicious and better-for-you dessert or baking up a DIY birthday cake for someone’s special day, this recipe is a perfect option. Moist and sweet and as pretty as can be!
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar (or granulated sweetener of your choice)
- 6 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups blanched almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1 1/2 cup Birthday Cake Flavor Whole Blend IsaLean® Shake
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
- Frosting (if desired)
- Rainbow sprinkles
Spray two 9-inch round cake pan with nonstick baking spray.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth and creamy.
Add almond flour, coconut flour, IsaLean Shake, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined. Add almond milk, and mix just until batter is smooth.
Spoon mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350 F for 20-24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool completely. Frost with desired frosting, coconut cream, whipped cream, or buttercream.
