As small business owners, Greg and Janine Charron know firsthand the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. The couple, who own a lucrative barre fitness studio in Ottawa, Ontario, wanted to expand their business and opened a second location in 2015. That’s when they began to experience financial hardship. For several tumultuous months, the couple worked hard to make ends meet but were ultimately forced to close their second studio location in 2016 and faced bankruptcy. It was a heartbreaking, pivotal moment in their lives, but Greg and Janine were determined not to give up on their business dreams.

Exploring Opportunities

During that time, a successful Isagenix leader approached Janine and asked if she was interested in learning more about the global health and wellness industry. Janine initially said no because she was too busy managing two barre studio locations and caring for her family. But, she was intrigued and began following Isagenix on social media.

When the barre studio closed, Janine began to seriously consider the opportunity with Isagenix.

“I joined a training call to learn about how to become an Isagenix Associate,” recalled Janine. “I remember crying as I listened to the leaders who explained how they found success, because I was terrified of making another wrong business decision.”

That’s when Janine took a leap of faith and decided to move forward with Isagenix.

“We were in a place of financial necessity, and in danger of losing our home, which forced me to take off like a rocket ship,” Janine said. “There was no room for error.”

Building a New Business

Janine’s focus immediately shifted to building her team. She spent an entire year talking to people and learning the ins and outs of Isagenix before she finally found her groove. During that time, Greg became a full-time dad, caring for the couple’s three children. Eventually, Janine convinced Greg to join her on her Isagenix journey.

“At first, I was skeptical,” he said. “So, I tried the Isagenix 9-Day System and was amazed at the results. I had so much energy and felt like a fog had lifted, which led me to gain confidence in the products.”

A few months later, the couple attended Global Celebration 2017. It was there Greg said he felt energized and inspired by the crowd and keynote speaker, Tony Robbins.

“It was definitely a turning point,” Greg said.

Working Hard Pays Off

Today, Greg and Janine, now Isagenix business partners, start every day with a workout, which they say is non-negotiable, before getting their kids ready for school. Then they spend an hour on income-producing activities, which regularly includes making phone calls and setting up Sip & Samples.

The couple often hosts Isagenix training events in the evenings either in their home or at their barre fitness studio nearby. They also enjoy preparing healthy, delicious recipes using Isagenix products for their guests.

Their success has landed them several opportunities to publicly share their story at various Isagenix events, including Canada Celebration 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Isagenix University in Ottawa, Ontario.

While Greg and Janine are determined to reach 2-Star Crystal Executive by the end of 2018, they don’t let their goals get in the way of spending quality time with their children. They feel fortunate that Isagenix afforded them the opportunity to achieve financial security.

“We hope we can start traveling with our kids and provide them with more life experiences,” Janine said.
