Four years ago, Wendy found herself in a place that she could only describe as rock bottom. She was overweight, stressed, and stuck in a downward spiral.
“I felt like I was a robot, living in a bubble,” she said. “I had one pair of pants that fit, I wasn’t sleeping, I hated my job, and had limited patience with the kids…I truly felt like I had forgotten how to smile.”
Wendy was introduced to Isagenix, and though she doubted the products would be any different from the many others she had tried in the past, she decided to give the nutrition a try. This time, she saw results. Wendy lost 68 pounds and reduced her body fat from 35 to 14 percent,* and she’s kept it off.
It didn’t take long for Wendy to fall in love with life again after she changed her body and her mindset. She was so inspired by this lifestyle change that she became a group fitness instructor, which had secretly been a passion of hers for more than 20 years, and now follows that passion alongside her Isagenix business full time.
“I spend my days coaching people how to live their full potential, while helping them get fantastically healthy so they can live a life of true abundance and freedom,” shared Wendy.

I: What changes were you looking for in your health and financial well-being when you started Isagenix? How do you feel now?
W: I was truly looking to find myself again. I wanted to feel good in my own skin, but more importantly, I wanted to learn how to love myself and how to be the wife and mom my family deserved. I had zero intention of building a business, but I continued to feel a pull toward wanting every mom to discover what I had and live an extraordinary life.
I: What are your best tips or hacks for making living a healthy lifestyle easy?
W: ORGANIZATION! I’m an organization geek, so I use a lot of little hacks to keep our busy lifestyles organized and healthy:
- Plan a weekly menu each Sunday. Plan your meals for the entire week, and make a grocery list to get everything you need. Knowing what you’re going to have for supper each night is a huge time and stress saver. Pro tip: anything that involves a crockpot is even better!
- Keep a planner or agenda. Seeing the week at a glance allows you to plug things in efficiently and quickly, from business and kid’s activities to date night. By knowing what’s coming up, you’ll never miss a minute that you could spend on working toward your goals.
- Focus on your goals and priorities. Keep a notebook by your bedside, and take time each evening to write out three to five things that you want to get done the next day. Knowing what’s on your task list will keep you focused and productive and will help you maximize every second of the day.
I: In addition to your favorite Isagenix products, what foods are always in your kitchen to help you stay on track with your health and wellness goals?
W:
- Loads of green veggies.
- Boiled eggs.
- Grilled chicken breast.
- Turkey pepperoni sticks.
- Greek yogurt.
- Avocados.
- Unsalted nuts.
- Tuna.
- Bananas.
- Rice cakes.
- Oatmeal.
- Natural peanut butter.
- Apples.
I: What do you love most about being a part of the Isagenix community?
W: There’s something so special about being immersed in a community of people who have the same vision as you. It goes back to surrounding yourself with the people who support you, who have the same goals as you, and who cheer for you when you win.
I: What is your top piece of advice for new Associates who are just getting started in their business?
W: Do not complicate this business! What we do is simple – we talk to people, build relationships, and offer solutions. You still won’t get everything right at first (I certainly didn’t), but you have to be OK with that. The key is to stop focusing on yourself – be more interested in other people and their goals, talk about the problems you can help them solve, and be insanely real and authentic. If you nurture your network like a farmer, you will be in constant abundance.
