Here at Isagenix World Headquarters, we are SO excited, because it’s time to announce our 2020 Judging Period 1 Canada IsaBody Challenge® Finalists!

We absolutely love this Challenge and everything it represents, because it allows us the privilege of watching participants transform their bodies and their lives through each 16-week journey.

In our latest Challenge, everyone absolutely crushed it, which made this Judging Period our toughest yet. Nonetheless, four finalists have been selected, and each will receive CA$3,000, tickets, and paid expenses to attend Canada Celebration 2020 with a guest, and an all-expenses-paid vacation to attend the IsaBody™ Escape!

Now, meet the amazing participants who were selected as the 2020 Canada Judging Period 1 IsaBody Challenge Finalists!

Paul Starling
Lindsay, Ontario
Age: 51
Height: 5’11”
Total Weight Loss: 50 pounds*
Challenges Completed: 7

Paul is a carpenter by trade, and as someone who creates things, he has recreated his image with Isagenix and IsaBody Challenges. Amazed by the convenience and nutrition, he can’t imagine living life any other way. He finds accountability through his wife and the IsaBody Challenge Facebook group.

“I had people tell me that I was actually inspiring them,” he shared.

That unexpected social boost is just one of the reasons Paul has come so far in his journey — that and his 4 a.m. workouts almost every morning.

Laurie Barkman
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Age: 52
Height: 5’0”
Total Weight Loss: 38 pounds*
Challenges Completed: 3

Laurie started her IsaBody journey simply wanting a way to keep track of her progress. She weighed herself every three days and measured herself once a week.

“I started Isagenix because I was tired, overweight, overwhelmed and didn’t know where else to turn,” she said.

Now Laurie is focused on strength and endurance but has learned so much about replacing negative self-talk with gratitude. She understands she is much more capable of anything she ever thought possible.

As Laurie travels around the world, she balances her nutrition — never giving up trying local cuisine but also packing IsaLean™ Shakes and Bars as well as Ionix® Supreme.

Murray Marchak
Victoria, British Columbia
Age: 47
Height: 6’4”
Total Weight Loss: 30 pounds*
Challenges Completed: 9

Murray used to describe himself as average. At 300 pounds, he tried Isagenix because his wife found success with it, and he wanted to improve his health. After nine Challenges and a total of 70 pounds* released, he knows he’s capable of so much more.

“I want people to see that if someone like me can set a goal and reach it, anything is possible. I want people to have success, and in turn, also grow my Isagenix business.”

Murray surrounds himself with reminders of the IsaBody Challenge so when he sees the name, he remains motivated. When he breaks out the IsaBody water bottle and IsaBody hat, you know he is focused and has his eyes on the prize.

Cristin Richardson
Guelph, Ontario
Age: 39
Height: 5’2”
Total Weight Loss: 19 pounds*
Challenges Completed: 3

Cristin is not only an IsaBody Challenge Finalist, but she also holds a black belt in martial arts that she has been working on for 20 years. It was only after starting Isagenix that she finally started to believe that the black belt was something she could achieve.

“It’s not because I didn’t have the skill but instead because I didn’t believe in myself,” she explained.

Cristin believes in herself now after getting active again and keeping up with her son. She participated in a 25-kilometer charity bike ride with her son and confidently goes to the gym to lift weights. She firmly believes that when you achieve something fulfilling, that feeling of success can stay with you forever — even if the scale fluctuates.

*Weight loss should not be considered typical. A two-phase 2016 study published by researchers at Skidmore College showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. The study evaluated the use of Isagenix products in men and women for weight loss followed by weight maintenance. As part of the weight loss phase, the participants took part in a calorie-controlled regimen of Shake Days and one Cleanse Day per week. During the weight maintenance phase, the subjects who continued the calorie-controlled program using Isagenix products better maintained their weight loss in comparison to those who transitioned to a traditional diet after 52 weeks.
