The month of May was a special one for Isagenix. The company made it a top priority to raise as much money and support as possible for their official charity beneficiary.
When Isagenix decided to expand its charitable alliance globally, Isagenix Board Member Jim Pierce and his wife, Tammy, were called upon to take on the challenge of finding the perfect fit. After six months of searching for a world-centric organization, a top Isagenix Associate suggested Make-A-Wish.
“One of the key reasons Jim and Kathy Coover started Isagenix with John Anderson was to give back,” explains Jim. “And, over the years, they have taken this commitment seriously with their dedication to children and their future.”
As a very special donation, Jim Pierce contributed an incredible $50,000 to make May a memorable one for Make-A-Wish. With the help of several Isagenix Associates, partners and employee contributions, Isagenix donated a total of $150,209.15 to Make-A-Wish in May.
Isagenix Associates made considerable contributions as well. IsaU New Jersey raised $13,444 and IsaU Seattle raised $18,807.82. Success partners and Associates came together to raise $4,242. Sound Concepts, a creative solutions company, raised $1,575.
On Monday, May 12, Isagenix Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover received two prestigious awards, the Annual Sponsor Award and the 2014 Cause Champion Award, from Make-A-Wish America and Make-A-Wish International. This is the third year that the Coovers have accepted the Annual Sponsor Award on behalf of Isagenix.
“This is a proud moment for Isagenix. For thousands of children around the world, wishes help kids feel stronger, more energetic and willing to battle their life-threatening medical condition. We are so grateful for our affiliation with Make-A-Wish and the ability to make a difference in people’s lives,” shares Isagenix Co-Founder and President Jim Coover. “There is no better cause than being able to bring joy into the life of a child and their family.”
“May was a successful month for Isagenix,” says Isagenix Marketing Supervisor Ashley Brown. “With the money raised, we’re one step closer to making many more wishes come true. We can’t wait to see what the next year will bring.”
