In October, Isagenix® celebrated its 2013 “Live Your Dream” National Convention in Mexico where Janeth, a spirited 13-year-old girl, was able to see her one true wish granted by Make-A-Wish® thanks to your help.
Janeth was accompanied by her parents, who guided her carefully in her wheelchair to the stage, to receive her wish: a laptop! She was also presented with a doll, a special plush animal and, of course, Isagenix products.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Janeth thanked everyone for not only helping grant her wish, but also for the thousands of other children who will see their wishes granted as a result of their donation.
Janeth is battling a rare but aggressive disease called Ewing’s sarcoma, which commonly affects teenagers and young adolescents. According to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, 250 cases are diagnosed each year in the U.S. with two-thirds of the patients being long-term survivors.
Ewing’s sarcoma is a cancerous tumor that develops in the bones or nearby soft tissues causing severe pain. Treatment for this disease is chemotherapy and amputation in extreme cases. While Janeth recently lost both her legs from her condition, she is winning the battle and continues to be strong.
To help make wishes come true for other courageous kids just like Janeth, visit your Back Office “Manage Autoship” section to make a $1 or more automatic charitable donation on your order.
