A year ago, Rick looked in the mirror and thought to himself, “So, this is what 63 looks and feels like.”

Rick was not satisfied with the reflection staring back at him. He had been experiencing a difficult year with many problems, leaving him feeling unhappy with his health and appearance. Fortunately, his daughter Kisa M. was an Isagenix Associate and encouraged him to start using some of the products. Rick was skeptical at first, but he decided to give Isagenix a shot. He officially began his Isagenix journey on July 29, 2014.

The Journey Begins

What started off as a brown box of products at his door soon became a lifestyle for Rick. He started on the 30-Day System and then added more productsGala 2015.

“e+™ along with the AMPED™ products make me feel amazing,” Rick says. “And the protein is just unbelievable. I drink it at night before bed.”

Quickly, Rick started attending Isagenix events, building a business, and living the company vision.

He enrolled in his first IsaBody Challenge® during the fall of 2014, shortly after joining Isagenix. Once he began IsaBody, he didn’t look back. Currently on his fifth Challenge, Rick has put on over 10 pounds of lean muscle and has reduced his body fat percentage by double digits.* He continues to test his limits and discover how far he can push himself physically and mentally.

A Product of the Product

After attending an IsaU event in Chicago, Rick learned about a new Isagenix movement about to launch called Prime Time. Rick was so excited about Prime Time because he felt he was a perfect fit—someone passionate about Isagenix and a strong example for the healthy aging category.

Rick knew Prime Time was looking for group members with energy, which he has lots of—thanks to the way he feels. He still works full time in addition to building his Isagenix business, does MMA workouts and boxes, lifts weights, and spends time with his family.

Rick is a firm believer in being a product of the product. He believes that getting involved in Prime Time, especially engaging with the Facebook group, is the perfect way to do so.Chicago ISAU Helping Out The Staff

“In order to be successful in the business of Isagenix, we need to help as many people as we can,” Rick says. “I just want to see other people take advantage of the solutions Isagenix offers.”

Rick’s physical transformation is inspiring to others in the healthy aging category, and he truly enjoys helping those who are looking to transform their lives, whether it’s through the Prime Time movement or at the gym.

“I think everybody should have the opportunity to be happy; that’s what it’s all about,” says Rick. “Whether you find happiness with a physical transformation or a mental one, there are so many aspects of Isagenix that you could utilize in a complete lifestyle. I’m 64, and I feel like I’m 40!”

Looking Ahead

Tricep ExtensionsRick no longer looks in the mirror and feels upset about what he sees; today, he sees someone who is headed down a path of living healthy, longer.

“I want to live the company mission statement, be a health and wellness crusader with the ability to cross age and gender hurdles, and help people get control of their lives,” he says.

*Weight loss should not be considered typical. In a study performed in 2012 by University of Illinois at Chicago researchers, subjects lost an average of 9 pounds with an average of 2 pounds of the loss from visceral fat after 30 days on an Isagenix System. The subjects also had a greater level of adherence and had more consistent weight loss from week to week compared to subjects on a traditional diet.
