IsaBody Challenge Winner

2014 IsaBody Challenge winner’s secrets to success

Since becoming the 2014 IsaBody Challenge® Grand Prize Winner, Amyra’s life has been a whirlwind of events including lots of congratulatory phone calls, emails and questions inquiring about her secrets to success.

Here’s what she shared:

Q. What was going through your mind when you heard your name announced as the Grand Prize Winner?

A. “I was thinking I really wanted to win, but I was also thinking I have everything I need to be successful so the victory was already won.”

Q. How did you reward yourself for a job well done?

A. “I had a Chocolate Decadence IsaLean® Bar. I was in heaven.”

Q. What’s your secret to staying fit?

A. “I just entered my fourth IsaBody Challenge. I figure, in order to maintain my results, I need to keep doing what got me here. I’m still in the gym at 5 a.m. I still consume my Isagenix products and I still eat my healthy fork and knife meals.”

Q. How many times do you go to the gym a week?

A. “Five days a week.”

Q. What’s your favorite exercise?

A. “Shoulder press.  I love the look of well-developed and sculpted shoulders.  They balance the body and make the waistline appear smaller.”

Q. What one song gets you in “gym mode”?

A. “TobyMac’s ‘Eye On It.’”

Q. Do you have a favorite 400-600 calorie meal creation?

A. “Yes! I love a turkey burger seasoned with Himalayan salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, and then wrapped in a big hearty Romaine leaf topped with a slice of red onion. I use salsa for ketchup and a lot of mustard. It’s so good; I think I ate that almost every day leading up to the Challenge.”

Q. What is one product you can’t go without and why?

A. “IsaLean® Pro. It is the perfect meal and I especially love the way it replenishes my body post-workout.  Also, my entire family uses it.  I like knowing that my children are getting the best nutrition too.”

Q. How has the Challenge changed your life financially?

A. “Two weeks before Celebration, my husband came home in the middle of the day saying the partners at his firm had decided it was best for them to part ways. That was a shock to us, but we had a plan B, my business. We’ve decided that we are not going back to Corporate America. Now we’re building our Isagenix business together. Before, I was making a little under $500 a month,** now we’re cycling a combined six times a week. Our goal is to reach 3-Star Golden Circle by 2015 New Year Kick Off—that momentum would replace his former income.”

Q. When you’re not building your business or at the gym, what do you do for fun?

A. “My joy is cuddling up and watching movies with my kids.”

Q. What are your physical and financial goals for the upcoming year?

A. “Physically, I’m training with internationally recognized fitness and figure coach and Isagenix Millionaire, Cathy S. to compete in my very first figure competition in April.  Financially, my husband and I hope to reach 7-Star Platinum.”
